Initial Unarmed Security Guard Training

Training for individuals seeking to meet Tennessee's training requirements for unarmed security guard registration.

Course instruction covers required material along with professional conduct, responsibilities, communication, reporting, and expectations in the field.

Initial Armed Security Guard Training

Training for individuals pursuing armed security guard registration in Tennessee, including required classroom and firearms instruction.

The course emphasizes firearm safety, legal responsibilities, sound judgment, professional conduct, and the additional responsibilities associated with working as an armed security officer.

Armed & Unarmed Renewal Training

Renewal training for currently registered Tennessee armed and unarmed security guards who need to complete required training to maintain their registration.

Crimson offers scheduled renewal classes throughout the year for both armed and unarmed officers.

CPR / First Aid / AED

Practical emergency-response training designed to prepare participants to recognize and respond to medical emergencies during the critical minutes before professional help arrives.

Initial Armed Guard note: Students certified as unarmed by Crimson within the last six months may skip the first four hours of the first day. Students remain responsible for the class content and exam.
